When I first saw this stamp set from Stampin' Up!, I got really excited, but once I had it in hand, I found it harder to be creative. Here's one of my first attempts - not perfect, by hey, I'm just glad I did SOMETHING! :) It's a little...um...DARK, to say the least...
Definition of MOXIE:
1: energy, pep; 2: courage, determination; 3: know-how
Definition of STAMPIN' MOXIE:
Using your personal energy, ideas, likes and loves to express yourself through the medium of stamping and crafting.
What's YOUR Stampin' Moxie style?
I believe we all have our own moxie. We each have a tune with which we march throughout our lives. Our moxie can change, too, as we change and grow through personal experiences and by witnessing the changes around us.
Part of the beauty of our moxie is being able to share it with one another. I enjoy sharing my moxie through crafting and have found that I can share a little something of me through the various projects I create. My desire is to share something I enjoy with others and allow them the opportunity to bring their own moxie out through crafting. Is your stampin' moxie style defined? Is it "vintage"? Is it "whimsical"? Is it something in-between or all of the above? Find out YOUR Stampin' Moxie style! Then, share with others...

Easter goodies for teachers
So I wanted to give Jackson's teacher's at school something for Easter and I saw these cute ideas on Splitcoast - had to give it a try! Here's the funny part: A few weeks after I gave them these, Jackson came home with some of the jellybeans as a "treat" that day for doing something good. Maybe I should have stuffed them with chocolate instead! Probably would have been consumed faster! :)

On a roll...
More "craftsiness" time...WaHOO!

I don't how long I waited before finally busting out my Floral background stamp...but I finally did to recreate this card I think I learned from my friend Tandy - just awesome!
I remember loving this dragonfly when I first saw it. I did a complete CASE from a crafter on SCS - I need to find the link to pay due respect. I love that it has the well-known verse from Ecclesiastes (3:1).
This is like the card I recently sent to my dad for his 70th b-day (except his said "Don't think "old"..." on the front bottom right side and on the inside said "just think "Classic!") This is another CASE from SCS but I used different DSP. I made this one a little more generic.

What if I faked amnesia...
to account for my lack of crafty posts? Would that work?
These are both fun and fairly easy to make. Inside I put the Ghiradelli (sp?) chocolates in milk and dark. The teachers seemed to appreciate a more "sophisticated" (wink wink) presentation to their chocolate indulgance - and to that I say "ENJOY!"
I HAVE actually been crafty and my fingers have been inky on several occassions, but I just haven't forced myself to put the pics up on the blog. Here are a couple of shots, though, of one of my most recent dabbles in the crafting world: Valentines gifts to the kids' teachers.

Well, while I'm here...
I figured I'd get another quick post in since I'm here at the computer and just finished the other post.
If you are a lover of chocolate - specifically DARK chocolate, then may I introduce you to THEO CHOCOLATE (http://www.theochocolate.com/)
If you are a lover of chocolate - specifically DARK chocolate, then may I introduce you to THEO CHOCOLATE (http://www.theochocolate.com/)

If you haven't heard of them, then click on the link and be prepared to get some goodies! We found out about this place a while back (actually, while watching the Food Network's First Annual Awards show - cheesy, but hey, I found an awesome Chocolaterie out of it - so HAH!) I ordered some bars for Elliott for Father's Day and they were an experience in high quality, SUPER-dark chocolate. I bought both the Venezuela and the Ghana Origin bars. Let me just say - when you eat one of these bars, you realize that there is a whole world out there, different from the day to day candy bars and even so-called "dark" specialty bars - a world where "dark chocolate" really means UBER-DARK. The Venezuela bar is 91% (yes, that's not a typo - it's really 91%) cacao and the Ghana is 84% cacao. Since I was already nursing Joseph when we got these I only could try a tast of each - but WOW what a punch they each had! Elliott really enjoyed them and we want to try more. The other awesome thing about them is that they are ORGANIC and FAIR TRADE chocolates. Check 'em out!
