Definition of STAMPIN' MOXIE:
Using your personal energy, ideas, likes and loves to express yourself through the medium of stamping and crafting.

What's YOUR Stampin' Moxie style?

I believe we all have our own moxie. We each have a tune with which we march throughout our lives. Our moxie can change, too, as we change and grow through personal experiences and by witnessing the changes around us.

Part of the beauty of our moxie is being able to share it with one another. I enjoy sharing my moxie through crafting and have found that I can share a little something of me through the various projects I create. My desire is to share something I enjoy with others and allow them the opportunity to bring their own moxie out through crafting. Is your stampin' moxie style defined? Is it "vintage"? Is it "whimsical"? Is it something in-between or all of the above? Find out YOUR Stampin' Moxie style! Then, share with others...

Well, while I'm here...

I figured I'd get another quick post in since I'm here at the computer and just finished the other post.

If you are a lover of chocolate - specifically DARK chocolate, then may I introduce you to THEO CHOCOLATE (http://www.theochocolate.com/)
If you haven't heard of them, then click on the link and be prepared to get some goodies! We found out about this place a while back (actually, while watching the Food Network's First Annual Awards show - cheesy, but hey, I found an awesome Chocolaterie out of it - so HAH!) I ordered some bars for Elliott for Father's Day and they were an experience in high quality, SUPER-dark chocolate. I bought both the Venezuela and the Ghana Origin bars. Let me just say - when you eat one of these bars, you realize that there is a whole world out there, different from the day to day candy bars and even so-called "dark" specialty bars - a world where "dark chocolate" really means UBER-DARK. The Venezuela bar is 91% (yes, that's not a typo - it's really 91%) cacao and the Ghana is 84% cacao. Since I was already nursing Joseph when we got these I only could try a tast of each - but WOW what a punch they each had! Elliott really enjoyed them and we want to try more. The other awesome thing about them is that they are ORGANIC and FAIR TRADE chocolates. Check 'em out!

A little of this...a little of that!

Yeah - AGES since a post - but I have done a few "craftsy" things here and there...

(CASE'd a card I saw and made this for my BIL's b-day)

(a 2-page spread covering Jackson's musicale last Spring)

(a couple versions of the yearly Christmas Gift Exchange reminders - well, actually, this year was the first year I've made reminders - usually it's just a letter detailing the info!)

A little of this, a little of that...

Well, like I said in my LAST post (a ba-jillion years ago) I haven't been able to do too much with crafting as of late - but here are a few things:

(for my BIL's b-day - love those corner rounders!)

Better late than never!

Well, to say I've been a little busy and unable to do much stamping is an understatement. However, this week I've almost finished 4 scrapbook pages - and also worked on some cards. I'm particularly excited about this one since this is an official HOJO (that's me) design! I got this cute Mickey Mouse punch from JoAnns.com and while working on another card, started looking at the punches I had made earlier and wondered if I could configure them into a flower. YUP! Sure can! I did - and this is what I came up with - Enjoy!

A little behind...

Well, I feel like I've been running non-stop since Joseph's birth! Mother's Day has passed and Father's Day is right around the corner and I haven't had a lot of time for "craftsy-ness" and new posts, BUT here are some of my favorite past-Mother's Day/Father's Day cards I've done...Enjoy!

Kari's Lunch Club - My Contribution

So, here's my latest card made for the lunch club I've gone to from time to time over the past few years. (For those who don't know "lunch clubs", you get together, eat, stamp, etc., you get the idea - LOTS of fun!) Thanks, Kari, for the update and invite - it was fun to get back to stamping post Joseph's birth! I've been wanting to try the "Faux Postage" look for awhile but just needed a little kick to do it. I also forced myself to use non-retiring stamps (which was a feat in and of itself since almost 90% of my current sets are retiring come July 1st!) Yikes! What's a stamper to do? Well...buy MORE stamps! :)

Wallet Card Fun!

Ok, I'm bummed that the OUTSIDE photo of my wallet card was too blurry to post and now it is gone...given to a friend from church for her baby shower. However, here is the INSIDE of the wallet card and shows the fun poem. I DID include a penny on the bottom right corner before I gave it to her. It wasn't too time consuming in general but I know I could churn out another one a lot faster now that I've done it already.

Lunch Tin Class

I taught a class recently at church on how to make lunch tins (you could turn them into receipe card holders, or as a card holder sorted by theme, or a memento box, etc., etc.,) Here's a sample of just one of the tins that were made that day (this sample is my friend Kristy's cute tin!) Isn't it too sweet! Too much fun - and really pretty easy once you get the hang of it.
