Ok, so this one falls under both paper crafting and "other" crafting:
My DH and I needed to get some new growth into our front walkway, so we picked up some flowers and I spent an evening putting them into the ground. Now, I am NOT a green thumb, but hubby is and hopefully these will last! :) I did enjoy feeling like I'd accomplished something - even if it wasn't in paper crafting!
That said, our neighbor's daughter fell and broken her forearm and my son's made up some cards and we got some lollipops - but I couldn't just give them her plain, so I added some "flowers" to the top and stuck them in a cute little pink bucket (her cast was pink, so I felt it fit!)
Very cute idea...love the flower pot and the flowers, hope your garden grows just as lovely.
ReplyDeletethose flower-pops are sure to cheer her up!!
ReplyDeletethe flower bed's lookin' good :) I rubbed my green thumb over the photo for some extra luck :)
I love both types of your flowers!! How kind of you to make that bucket for that little girl. I know she will love it!!
ReplyDeleteThat is perfect for a youngster that is under the weather, I love that idea. Good luck with your real flowers too.
ReplyDeleteMy hubby is the green thumb in our family too - flowers shudder when I walk by! Your flower pot with the lollipops is fantastic - what a wonderful way to package the treat.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry if your plants suddenly take a turn for the worse, I do NOT have a green thumb and if one of my daughters gets a plant I'm forbidden to touch it, so by sharing your photos, your plants are now in danger. . . :)that is a cute idea!
ReplyDeleteThis is adorable! The cute pink bucket and and flower lollipops are sure to make her feel much better!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to give lollipops! Love it! Your flowers look great too! I hope you get to enjoy them for a long time!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty flowers...inside the pot and in the ground. Cute card! What a great gift...very thoughtful. She will love it.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers - real and fake - are great! That looks like a treat any age would enjoy.
